This place should be full for dinner. Okay, it was a Sunday night, so we may not know the usual flow, but so worth it. An esoteric but delicious menu. I'm not sure how it does during the day. Probably awesome given the outdoor seating and nice bar. So my comments are for dinner. My personal observation for what it's worth: for dinner, lose the red/blue rope lights and the plug in liquor sign. Lower the lights 20-30%. Throw a couple candles on the tables. Mark more of a difference between the bar area and dining area. Create that ambiance that matches the high quality food.

A gift card I had for WPH had been burning a hole in my pocket for a few months so when a friend's birthday came up, I decided to take him here. I made a reservation for 5:45 midweek. When we arrived the place was empty, but we were seated near a HUGE party, they were loud, but fun so we didn't mind. Specialty drinks were fun and flavorful. The appetizer of pork belly egg rolls were a great way to start off the meal. My friend ordered the duck and I was able to taste it. (My first time eating duck) It was enjoyable. My salmon was cooked to my liking and it was such a big portion I took half home for dinner the next night. To celebrate a birthday we ordered the creme brulee. Sadly, the presentation and flavor put an end to the pleasant meal we had. It looked like it had been sitting out for a while and the flavor was something we just couldn't figure out. It was comped by the restaurant because of the birthday, but I'm just not sure what happened. The design, decor, and overall vibe of the place felt a bit all over the place. Not sure what the theme was, it looked a bit thrown together. I'd go back for drinks and starters for HH or when I have visitors

I ordered the beet salad and it was delicious. I had the Truckee Sunset cocktail and it was fabulous. Our friends had the schnitzel and venison burgers. Everything was super tasty. The high table we sat at had a pretty view and our server was very nice.

We came here because we had heard great things about the burgers and sweet potato fries. I got the burger and sweet potato fries while my wife got a salad. The fries were the star of the show. Everything else was great too. But those fries.... So good we ordered a second plate. The burger was awesome too. We will definitely be putting this place into our restaurant rotation.

Arrived at 3pm on a Tuesday . Several people at tables in the bar, and a couple of people in the dinning area. I was glad to be able to still order from the lunch menu. Lunch ends at 2pm and dinner begins at 4pm. Had a great Jalepeno cocktail, and the Pork Belly Bahn Mi, with pickled vegetables. The sandwich was hot and good. Tender pork belly and thick slices of jalepeno, and good amount of sauce. I love pickled vegetables and always order them whenever available. These were not super pickly but a refreshing side. The waiter offered dessert, so how could I refuse? Got the bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberries. Yum Yum!

We have lunch here right after arriving from Reno on the way to our cabin in Southlake Tahoe. This place iPhone on yelp. The food did not disappoint. We had a great food experience. Although the Caesar salad could be better, there's a few old lettuce mixed in there, but so far it's crunchy. Their chicken wings, the best. I had the tempura tiger prawn ---Amazing. caress of my family ordered patty melt. Good attentive server. The place was not packed at the time we came but slowly getting busy after. Clean and simple decor.

What a find! Laid back cool vibe to start with. Sat at the bar...Great selection of Bourbons and Tequilas by the way. Turns out the bar tender that night was the owner Brent. In the short time I was there it became apparent that Brent is extremely passionate about every aspect of this restaurant. Brent knows his bourbons and tequilas, and seems to be a tequila connoisseur. I had the Elk Chop which resembled a Tomahawk Steak. Cooked to perfection, served with asparagus and as a bonus came with a liberal shot of bourbon neat. This will be a regular stop between Oregon and Nevada in the future. I highly recommend if you ever in the Reno Area.
